why blog?

New CD: Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine - absolutely fabulous! Musically great, poetically greata - I dig. Especially the songs Window and the sick in the head song - check it out, you'll love it if you're anything like me...

My TV has horrible reception, it is making me sad. Tonight Jonathan and I went to dinner - wanted to go to John Hawk's - it's the first night in a while I have been able to get out and go somewhere outside of my 3 mile radius of inhabitation - got there and parked in the Wells Fargo ramp, only to find the wait would be about 45 minutes - I wasn't in the mood to have my stomach eat itself so we left - and had to pay $4 for the 10 mins worth of parking - Lame! Weekend plans consist of homework, cleaning, work, and hopefully some shopping Sunday afternoon.

just me and EJ this weekend ... yippy skippy ... :)

"Lysol Girl"

Written Wednesday, December 10th, 2003 by Alyssa (aka lyss lyss ... hah!)

Theres a girl in two of my lectures who makes me laugh hysterically. She carries around a bottle of spray lysol. Every time she comes to class, she generously sprays the chair desk and arm rests with her damn lysol. Now Im sorry if she is OCD and cant help it and im just ripping on her, but, COME ON!! Wouldn't you think that...OH!! and... she took it into the bathroom with her!! Im betting she sprayed the toilet seat. Oy vey. Now in my opinion, being this cautious about germs would actually be worse for you. If you completely alienate yourself from germs, the one time you come in direct contact with them, youd probably catch the disease. If you are in contact with germs, wouldnt that help you stay immune to diseases?? I dont know, but I sneezed when we left the lecture hall, and she said, "Bless you." And I bet she wanted to spray me with lysol.

Yes... I am proud to say, that was me ...
